Health Comm Lab

The health comm lab conducts an array of studies that examine the connections between new media technologies, everyday life, and health—mostly pertaining to food and exercise.

The lab employs both quantitative and qualitative techniques that include surveys, experiments, in-depth interviews, auto-ethnographies, and content analysis.

Every week during the semester, the lab meets to supervise the data cleaning process, discuss our analysis results, debate the literature, prepare a presentation, or collaborate on a manuscript.
